Update 1

Getting the ball rolling

The Adelante Con Camp Perry capital campaign moved forward diligently to deliver a world-class camping experience, documenting highlights of a fast-paced journey in rebuilding the council’s camping home.

Update 2

Dining hall ground breaking

Supporters gathered for the Camp Perry dining hall ground breaking — the start of the campaign’s signature project.

Update 3

Construction site secured

SpawGlass secured the construction site with fence paneling and placed project signage.

Update 4

Underground work

The plumbing contractor completed the underground plumbing, while the electrical contractor installed underground electrical rough-ins.

Update 5

Foundations take shape

All formwork for pour one was completed and grade-beam rebar was pre-tied. Excavation for plumbing and electrical rough-ins for pours two and three continued.

Update 6

Community momentum

A campaign event featured former Secretary of Defense and CIA Director Dr. Robert Gates, who delivered a speech at the Marine Military Academy campus in Harlingen.
