From sign-up to check-in
Talk to your unit or group leader
Most Scouts attend with their troop or pack. Leaders receive dates, check-in times, the leader’s guide and forms from the council.
Register with the council
Registration, reservations and payments are handled only by the Rio Grande Council.
Complete health forms
Bring the Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A, B and, for stays over 72 hours, C with a physical). Medications go to leaders in original containers.
Pack for heat, water and mud

Check-in day
Arrive at the time your unit is given, complete swim checks and health screening, set up camp, and get ready for an amazing week.
Leave at home
Valuables, fireworks, personal firearms, alcohol, tobacco/vapes and anything your unit’s rules prohibit. Electronics policies are set by camp and units.
